‘Slightly Out of Focus’ named Semifinalist in JumpStart Competition

“Slightly Out of Focus,” my script from the Cannes Film Festival’s screenwriting residency (CannesFilms Unlimited), placed as a Semifinalist and earned a spot in the Top 25 Features of the Roadmap Writers JumpStart Competition.

Roadmap Writers is a leader in screenwriting education and training taught by working industry executives & literary representatives. In just five years, Roadmap has helped more than 200 writers get signed to representation with agents and managers.

Judges for the competition include agents and managers from APA, Anonymous Content, 3 Arts, CAA, Circle of Confusion, and Echo Lake Entertainment, just to name a few.

Finalists for the competition will be announced in December.
