My trucker drama “Bobtail” was just named as a Quarterfinalist for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Nicholl Fellowship.

“Bobtail” is one of nearly 6,000 entries to the illustrious screenwriting fellowship.

The Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting is an international screenwriting competition established to identify and encourage talented new screenwriters.

Semifinalist results will be announced in early to mid-September.
